Over 40 tonnes of cannabis seized
At Paris airports, customs services seized 1.1 tonnes of cocaine in seven months, according to figures as of July 31, compared to two tonnes for the whole of 2021. Regarding cannabis, 41.25 tonnes were seized as of July 31, including 1.1 tonnes at Paris airports. In 2021, customs services had intercepted 74.86 tonnes of cannabis.
A total of 73 tons of narcotics were seized as of July 31 at the national level, compared to 65 tons in 2021, an increase of 12%.
