It is known that foreigners are investing heavily in the Indian stock market.

It is known that Indian stock market will fall when foreigners withdraw their investment and Indian stock market will rise when foreigners again invest in Indian stock market.

In this situation, it has been reported that foreigners have started investing in the Indian stock market again in the month of August, and in the first week of August alone, foreigners have invested Rs.14 thousand crores in India.

It is said that in the first week of August 2022 alone, foreigners have invested more than Rs. 14 thousand crores in the Indian stock market and due to this the Indian stock market is seeing a gradual rise and in the future there is an opportunity for more foreigners to invest in the Indian stock market.

It is noteworthy that the value of the amount invested by foreigners in the Indian stock market last July was just Rs.5000 crores, but in the first week of August alone, foreigners have invested more than Rs.14 thousand crores.

It is worth noting that the Indian stock market has seen a performance after the foreign investors who invested in India continued to leave since October last year. From October 2021 to June 2022, it has been reported that foreigners have sold their investments worth Rs 2.46 lakh crore.

In this regard, Hitesh Jain, Lead Analyst, Institutional Equities, Yes Securities said, ‘FBI status is expected to be positive in the month of August. Because the poor value of the rupee is over. Similarly, the price of crude oil seems to be limited to a range. Therefore, foreign investment will be strong due to solid revenue growth,” he said.

According to data on foreign investment, FIIs poured Rs 14,175 crore into Indian stocks in the first week of August. A change in FPI strategy has fueled the recent market rally. The main reason for the FBI inflow is that the dollar index has now fallen below 106 from above 109 last month. This trend may continue,” said VK Vijayakumar, chief investment strategist at Geojit Financial Services.

Therefore, stock market experts have said that the period of decline in the Indian stock market for the past few months has come to an end and henceforth the Indian stock market will see an upswing and due to the large number of foreign investors, those who have invested in the Indian stock market will see good profits.
