He added, “All of this requires all parties to sit at the table of dialogue and negotiation, and to show determination, seriousness, and will to reach a political solution, which is the only way that will lead to ending the crisis, restoring security and stability to the Syrian territories, stopping the suffering of its citizens, and paving the way for the reconstruction of areas that have been destroyed by conflicts, and providing the requirements.” Necessary for the safe, voluntary and dignified return of the displaced inside Syria and the displaced and refugees outside it.

Hussein continued: “In light of the humanitarian ordeals that the Syrian citizens have been subjected to, Iraq has opened its doors to receive refugees who fled the effects of the conflicts, as it hosts on its lands in Iraqi Kurdistan about (260) thousand Syrian citizens, treating them on an equal footing with Iraqi citizens and allowing They are allowed to engage in work activity in the markets, and it has also provided more than (35%) of them who live in refugee camps with the basic requirements for a decent livelihood and the required assistance to secure their needs.”
