According to the details, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch, said in her response that there have been allegations related to the listing of American companies for the ballistic missile program in the past. We have seen many cases where lists were made based on mere suspicion, even when items were not on a control list but were considered sensitive.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that we have pointed out several times that such items are used for legitimate civilian trade, so it is important to avoid arbitrary application of export controls. Negotiations between the parties are required to create, Pakistan is always ready to discuss the use and user verification mechanism, this process should not harm legitimate commercial users by discriminatory application of export controls.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch added that Pakistan rejects the political use of export controls, which claim to use strict non-proliferation controls, have removed licensing terms for advanced military technologies for a few countries.
