British Club Travelers Group of 33 Piki Reels led by Belgian citizen Yves Bouvier, was informed that the lands of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation were contaminated with mines from Armenia.

As Day.Az reported on Monday with reference to Trend, the travelers visited the village of Horadiz in the Fizuli region and witnessed the contamination of the territories with mines by the Armenian army and unexploded ordnance during the occupation.

An employee of the Azerbaijan Republic Mine Action Agency (ANAMA) informed the guests in detail about the mine danger in the area.

The guests then watched the mine clearance operation.

It should be noted that representatives of the main international travel clubs visited Karabakh and Eastern Zangezur 11 times in 2020-2024. More than 400 foreign travelers from more than 50 countries took part in these trips.

This visit of the British club Piki Reels was the 12th in a row. These trips are of exceptional importance for promoting the occupied territories within the framework of dark tourism, and at the same time for demonstrating the ongoing large-scale construction and restoration work.
