Giulia Siegel in the crossfire of criticism

The eighth day at the forest camp was emotional and tearful. A celebrity camper ends up packing his things with relief.
Welcome to the kingdom of tears! On the eighth day of “I’m a Star – Show of Jungle Legends” (new episode first by RTL +, the second day on linear television on RTL), the tears of jungle legends threatened to flood the camp in Canyon River Blyde in South Africa. Almost every minute the campers were tired of their emotions. In between, they spell the word terrorism back and forth. There is also a lot of conflict between forest girlfriends and brothers. One Legend had enough and left the camp relieved.
“They will kill me at night”
Half time in the jungle camp of Legends – and once again the Sparks were flying. Now, the camps are divided into two camps: Giulia Siegel (49) and Georgina Fleur (34) face the “mob of four”. These include Elena Miras (32), Danni Büchner (46), Kader Loth (51) and “leader” Thorsten Legat (55) – at least. Eric Stehfest (35), who sympathized with both, thought how the other party would treat him if Giulia and Georgina “took out bullying”: “They will kill me at night.”
But you don’t get that far at first. Instead, it started with Eric, tears filled the camp and what happened next. Eric cried because he was afraid of being dragged into the terrorist maelstrom. This also caused the tears of Mola Adebisi (51). His wife Adelina, who was very pregnant at the time – the time of filming in May – was suffering from diabetes and high blood pressure. In addition, “we have not been apart for a long time, at most five days,” Mola cried.
“You think a little bit and a little bit … it’s crazy.”
Elena Miras lost her daughter, still crying. Danni Büchner also spoke to herself with tears: “There are times when I am not a good mother, I want to give everything back to my children.” Sarah Knappik (37) didn’t let that sit with her for long. “I miss my little boy. I would like to kiss him,” she cried. Even Gigi Birofio (25) began to think about his work as a true star with the well-watered corners of his face: “The difficult thing about my work is that I always have to smile. But here in the camp you think a lot , you have withdrawn into yourself. Why am I here?
Then the noise was over and the argument started again. For example, about Gigi’s behavior to send senior Winfried Glatzeder (79) into the night watch and to avoid work itself. Gigi Forester Eric Stehfest did not like this disrespect at all. He denied Gigi any relevance as a jungle legend. Gigi, on the other hand, thinks she understands “why everyone hates Eric.” He showed a different way to deal with Eric with the words: “Let the game begin”. A successor to Joey Heindle’s (31) legendary exclamation: “Let’s getty to Rambo!”
Siegel described Knappik as a “Stasi” camp.
But once again Giulia Siegel received the most criticism. It is not his know-it-all attitude that is not well received by his fellow legends. During the night watch, he also attacks Sarah Knappik, one of his few friends. He compared Sarah’s leadership style as a camp leader in the previous day to that of the “Stasi”. Tears flowed again in the morning, which made Elena very upset. His protest to Giulia said: “Now, he has a problem with me.” Even Giulia’s noble gesture of handing out the cigarettes she had carried into the camp so that everyone could retrieve their luxury items didn’t help. This is also translated as pure “wisdom”. It looks like Giulia Siegel will have a hard time for the rest of the camp.
Eric Stehfest and Gigi Birofio needed a secure footing in the forest test. Standing on thin wooden planks high above the Blyde River Canyon, the two had to throw stars at each other. Gigi’s throwing skills aren’t particularly good, so it’s enough for a full six out of eleven stars. Still, the “therapy” success for the two heroes. On the other hand, Giulia Siegel “expects eight to ten stars.”
When the final announcement was made, the celebrity duo Sonja Zietlow (56) and Jan Köppen (41) didn’t even get excited. During the selection, Winfried Glatzeder described himself as “mentally exhausted” and asked to leave the camp. As the oldest inmate of the camp, he left the cock and hen fighting behind him. His conclusion: “It’s an adventure. You have to be crazy.”
