jpnn.com – Spokesperson for the DPP Democratic Party, Irwan, said that Indonesia‘s future forestry policy must be comprehensive in order to overcome deforestation and climate change.
This was conveyed by a well-known politician known as Irwan Fecho, reflecting on the implementation of forestry policies in general.
“I see that overall, Indonesia’s current forestry policy has an ambitious but frequent scope
“Irwan said in a statement in Jakarta, Friday (4/10/2024).
According to Irwan, there are challenges facing the government in the future, namely balancing economic interests and forest sustainability through policies that are integrated and well supported by the government, community and business actors.
“This is a challenge for Pak Prabowo’s government in the future,” said the general chairman of the Senior High School Forestry School Alumni Family Association (IKA SKMA).
However, seeing President-elect Prabowo Subianto’s vision in Asta Cita, Irwan is optimistic that Indonesia’s forest management in the future will be better.
“With Pak Prabowo’s commitment to realizing a green economy in his Asta Cita, I believe that forestry and forestry management will be better and more successful than now,” said the member of the DPR RI for the 2019-2024 period.
The holder of a doctorate in forestry from Mulawarman University also supports future governments in optimizing law enforcement, while ensuring the continuity and expansion of the moratorium.
