Static and Ben El Tabori announced last week the end of their journey as a musical duo. The singer, Doron Mirren, spoke today (Tuesday) with Ace the Joker on the “Breeze” program on Radio North 104.5 and commented on the dramatic message: “I’m sure it’s a publicity stunt. “I’m not saying this as my opinion, I’m saying it as someone from our side, I know What’s going on in the system, Ben Al made a mistake but they already made lemonade out of lemons. They have problems, the recordings broke the camel’s back.”
Miren later said that before Tabori became a member of Statik, he used to perform with him. “Ben El Tabori would perform with me every night, then Static came up and said ‘Me and Ben El recorded a song’, I said what could it be… and then it blew up in my face, I’m personally disappointed with Ben El. He started a way with me and I let him do it A song with static, they exploded and Doron moved aside,” he said.
“Ben El Ben is a good person but he is difficult, success made him dizzy. I wish him success. I was disappointed in me, it is not possible that he barely says hello. I don’t want them to think that I am looking for attention. I forgive but I don’t forget,” he concluded.
