Vinay Menon, who was the face of India in international football, now joins Indian football. Vinay Menon, a Malayali who worked as a part of English Premier League club Chelsea and Belgium national football team. Vinay Menon will be responsible for research and action to connect India to the world of international football. He was the wellness coach of the Belgium national football team that participated in the 2022 FIFA World Cup hosted by Qatar. Vinay is the first Indian to take the coaching position of a European club or a country competing in the World Cup. Former Chelsea Staff Vinay Menon joins AIFF

Vinay was the personal trainer of Chelsea’s former owner, Roman Abramovich, and later joined Chelsea with his help. After 13 years as Chelsea’s wellness coach, he left the club with Abramovich last year. The All India Football Federation’s move comes at a time when the world’s leading sportspersons and organizations are vying for Vinay Menon’s services.
