Denitsa Zlateva, the former deputy prime minister in the caretaker government since 2017, has resigned as the head of Bulgargaz.

The departure of Zlateva, who was also an MP from the BSP, was approved today by the Board of Directors of “Bulgarian Energy Holding” EAD, the holding announced.

Denitsa Zlateva’s resignation was accepted, and Dimitar Spasov and Tatyana Petrova-Boyadzhieva were dismissed from the company’s Board of Directors. Mihail Milkov, Bianka Racheva and Marin Filipovski take their places, according to the official information from BEH.

Mihail Milkov has many years of experience in the field of energy, with a finance profile. Currently, he is the director of the “Finance and Budgets” department at “Bulgarian Energy Holding” EAD. Bianka Racheva has experience as a legal consultant and has been a lawyer since 2020. From January 2013, Marin Filipovski worked in the “Natural Gas Supplies” Directorate, and from June 2004 to November 2012 he worked at “Sofiagaz” EAD.

By decision of the Board of Directors of “Bulgargaz” EAD, Veselin Sinabov was appointed as the executive director of the company. From August 2022 until now, Veselin Sinabov is the director of the “Natural Gas Trade” Directorate and a member of the Board of Directors of “Bulgargaz” EAD. From September 2015 to August 2022, he held various positions in “Bulgartransgaz” EAD as director of the “Commercial Services” department, head of the “Balance” department and others. Previously, he was an expert in the “Purchase, transportation and storage of natural gas” department at “Overgas Inc.” AD.

The changes come into effect from the day of entry of the decisions in the Commercial Register at the Registration Agency, until new tender procedures are held, explained BEH.
