Former editor-in-chief of the Yekaterinburg online edition E1.ru Natalia Popova was found dead, there has been no connection with her since November 16. This was announced by the editorial staff of the portal.

E1.ru noted that 42-year-old Popova quit at the end of October, after which she flew away to rest and recently returned to Yekaterinburg. As RIA Novosti clarified, after Popova stopped communicating, her relatives filed a report of the disappearance with the police.

According to the Telegram channel Baza, the body of the journalist was found in her apartment with no signs of violent death.

Former editor-in-chief of KP-Yekaterinburg, Rinat Nizamov, also said that no traces of violent death were found on the journalist’s body. “She is a super professional, hyper-responsible, caring about the team, she could work around the clock. I learned about the incident from my colleagues from E1.RU, it looks like there is no crime in the incident, ”he said.
