Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: The Federal Integrity Commission announced that an arrest warrant had been issued against the former governor of Salah al-Din for deliberately committing something that violated his job duties with the intention of benefiting a person at the expense of the state.
The Investigation Department in Bayanward reported to Al-Masala that the judge of the Salah al-Din Investigation Court, which specializes in examining integrity cases, issued an arrest warrant against the former governor of Salah al-Din. Based on the provisions of Article (331) of the Penal Code.
She added that the order was issued against the accused for organizing disbursement bonds in the name of the contracting company implementing projects for equipping and installing combined water units throughout the governorate, pointing out that the governor delivered the amounts allocated for the projects to one of the company’s authorized persons, agreeing with him to receive the amounts and not to deliver them to the company.
It is noteworthy that the Commission had previously announced the issuance of several arrest warrants against the former governor of Salah al-Din for committing violations of his job duties and harming public funds, signing an investment license, and disbursing billions of dinars for fictitious projects, in addition to sentencing him in absentia to 10 years in prison for his involvement in corruption cases and wasting public funds. .
