Amos YadlinA former head of security and a senior fellow at Harvard University said today (Friday) in an interview with Nissim Mash’al on 103FM radio about the Iranian nuclear threat. Yadlin said that “the Iranians’ distance to the bomb is two months.”

Yadlin added that “Israel needs to prepare its options in order to stop the plan.” He argued that the options did not necessarily have to be in the military field: “It could be secret or cyber. Israel needs to start looking at the Iranian weapons group, because in Tehran they have made great progress, and it may be difficult to stop the pine enrichment route.” However, he stressed that “for nuclear weapons, one should also look at a group of weapons that will turn that enriched uranium into a bomb.”

Yadlin concluded: “When we attacked the reactor in Iraq the Americans did not know at all and we just did it. There are several levels of coordination with the Americans. The Iranians are close to the red line that if they cross it – we will have to attack, and Israel can attack without American backing.”
