MADRID, 25 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Former lawyer Sidney Powell, one of 19 implicated in the criminal network that sought to reverse the results of the 2020 elections, has filed a speedy trial lawsuit in Fulton County, thus joining the proposal of attorney Kenneth Chesebro.

This has been advanced by the newspaper ‘The Atlanta Journal Constitution’. Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis proposed an Oct. 23 start date after Chesebro requested a change to the first proposed date, which had been set for March 2024.

The Fulton County Sheriff’s Office has published this Friday the police photographs of the last two defendants who have turned themselves in to the Georgia authorities in the case: that of Pastor Stephen Lee and that of the Republican district representative Shawn Still.

Others involved have also completed the procedure, such as lawyer Robert Cheeley, Coffee County Supervisor of Elections, Misty Hampton, as well as former campaign collaborator Michael Roman, CNN has collected.

The prison authorities have recorded Trump taking his fingerprints and mugshots after he turned himself in for the case that is investigating him for his alleged involvement in a criminal network that sought to reverse the results of the 2020 elections.

The ex-president has been released on bail after accepting a $200,000 bail, like the other 18 co-defendants in the plot, who have progressively turned themselves in during the day.
