Manuel Fuentes, former mayor of Peñaflor and current candidate in the upcoming municipal elections, was arrested by Carabineros for illegal possession of firearms.
According to the chief prosecutor of the Western High Complexity Prosecutor’s Office, Paulina Díaz, the former head of the Peñaflor community was arrested after a search was carried out at his home, where two weapons were found, “a revolver type weapon not registered in the candidate’s name and another that is simply prohibited, since it is a weapon with the serial number erased.”

Prosecutor Paulina Díaz stated that Manuel Mallea, who works at ChileAtiende in Melipilla, is also being investigated for this cause. was coordinated with Manuel Fuentes to use these Unique Keys.
