The former president of Uruguay José Mujica (2010-2015) is in the hospital again, according to the local press and confirmed by Agencia EFE this Thursday.

Last week, the former president was already admitted to the hospital after having problems eating due to the radiotherapy treatment he received as a result of a malignant tumor in the esophagus.

This was indicated on Tuesday, August 27, by personal physician, Raquel Pannone.
