Former professional swimmer Michael Phelps is not missing out on the Summer Olympics. Photos show him with his family in Paris.
The Summer Olympics in Paris are in full swing. Fans have traveled from far and wide to cheer on the athletes. Michael Phelps is also not missing out on the sporting event and has come from the USA with part of his family. The 39-year-old was a professional swimmer himself and won 28 Olympic medals during his career – 23 of them were gold.
Now Michael Phelps no longer competes in sporting competitions, but watches from the stands. Pictures have captured him watching the women’s artistic gymnastics with his wife Nicole and their child a few days ago, and then he went for a round of golf.
He also shared photos of the family trip on his Instagram channel. The photos show him in bed with his baby, with his wife and baby in front of the Eiffel Tower or in the stands. Many followers liked the post and it was “liked” over 100,000 times.
Michael Phelps got engaged to Nicole Johnson in 2015. The 39-year-old is a former American beauty queen and was crowned Miss California 2010, among other things. The wedding followed a year later, split into three ceremonies. They then started their own family and had four sons: their firstborn, son Boomer, is eight years old. Son Beckett is six, his brother Maverick is four, and the youngest – Nico – was born in January of this year.
Michael Phelps and his wife Nicole are currently traveling with the latter in Paris and enjoying the Summer Olympics. For Nico, it is “the first rave,” as his father revealed on Instagram.
