Former South Korean President Dinamani dies of heart attack

Former South Korean President Sun Doo-hwan has died of a heart attack on Tuesday.

Sun Doo-hwan seized power in South Korea in the 1979 coup. A soldier, he was accused of suppressing various democratic struggles while in power.

Following that, Roh won the 1987 election and became President of South Korea.

Sun Doo-hwan, 90, was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease. He was also being treated for leukemia when he died at his home on Tuesday of a heart attack.
