We won’t see another hands-down victory for Red Bull this weekend. Formula 1 announced this Wednesday noon via a press release published on its networks that the sixth Grand Prix of the season will not be held. The torrential rain falling on the Emilia-Romagna region prevents it from being held in optimal security conditions.
“The Formula 1 community wishes to send its thoughts to the people and communities affected by the recent events in the Emilia-Romagna region. We would also like to commend the work of the emergency services who are doing everything they can to help those in need,” the statement read.
We will find the drivers for the Monaco Grand Prix on May 28.
