The easyJet pilots’ strike in Spain, which began its third 72-hour strike period this Saturday, has caused four cancellations this Sundayas reported by the Spanish Union of Airline Pilots (Sepla).
Specifically, it is about two cancellations at Barcelona airport with origin or destination in Geneva and other two at Palma de Mallorca airport with origin or destination London.
The cancellations of this Sunday are added to the one registered this Saturday and at 36 registered in the first strike period (on August 12, 13 and 14) and at 38 of the second period (August 19, 20 and 21).
In this way, the total number of cancellations registered since the start of the strike called by the Sepla union section at easyJet is 79 flights.
It should be remembered that the Sepla has challenged before the National High Court the minimum services decreed by the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda for the easyJet pilots’ strike, considering them “abusive”.
In addition, the union has announced that will sue easyJet in the coming days for what it considers to be an abusive application of minimum services.
