Capital authorities suspended four establishments known as Chelerías in the Cuauhtémoc mayor’s officeas part of the program The Night belongs to Everyone, coordinated by the Secretary of Government of Mexico City.
According to the authorities of that agency, the tour was carried out after receiving various complaints from neighbors in which they assured that in said premises they sold alcoholic beverages for minors old and caused disturbances in the street.

The operation was carried out with the presence of elements of the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC)the Investigative Police (PDI) of the Attorney General’s Office of Mexico City (FGJCDMX), members of the Secretariat of Comprehensive Risk Management and Civil Protection (SGIRPC) and of Administrative Verification Institute (INVEA).
In this regard, the Government of Mexico City indicated that for the administration headed by Clara Brugada Molinaguaranteeing the safety of citizens is essential, so this type of tours will be carried out in all the city’s municipalities, in order to verify that establishments that operate at night comply with the corresponding security measures.

The mayor of Cuauhtémoc, Alessandra Rojo de la Vega, announced during a report on the first 100 days of government that the district has also carried out operations to detect and remove this type of establishments that do not have the corresponding permits.
