Four children among five dead in Nepal’s Tulsipur blaze- Dinamani

A fire broke out in a clothing store.

Five people have been killed in a fire at a shoe store in Nepal’s Tang district.

Tulsipur DSP Shyamu Aryal said about the fire.

A fire broke out at a shoe store in Tulsipur area at 2.00 am today. Firefighters arrived at the scene around 7.30pm and recovered the bodies. 3 bodies were recovered on the second floor and two bodies on the 4th floor.

Four of the five people killed in the crash were under the age of 15.
The deceased have been identified as 13-year-old Sajida Kadun, Hasan Baksh (14), Machin Baksh (15), Nazardeen Ali (40) and Abidin Ali (5). Five of the dead died of asphyxiation.

Firefighters were called to the scene to control the blaze. Police suspect the fire may have been caused by an electrical leak.
