The FC Bayern professionals are on vacation until January 2nd. Now it is clear what will happen next.

FC Bayern Munich will complete a training camp in Portugal after the first Bundesliga game in 2024.
Following the home game against TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on January 12th, coach Thomas Tuchel will “spend a few days in warmer climes” with the team around captain Manuel Neuer, as the German football champions announced. The Munich professionals will travel to Faro from January 14th to 18th. In addition to training, the focus in the Algarve should be on team building measures.
After the Christmas break, the first training session of the new year will take place on Tuesday, January 2nd. At 4 p.m. there will be a public practice session on the club grounds. Four days later, the Munich team played a friendly in Switzerland against FC Basel.
Tuchel had announced that he wanted to use the long week between the home games against Hoffenheim and Werder Bremen on January 21st for a short training camp. January ends for the second-placed team in the Bundesliga with the catch-up game against Union Berlin (24th) and the game at FC Augsburg (27th). A day later, striker Harry Kane and Co. make up for the traditional fan club visits that had to be canceled at the beginning of December due to the heavy snowfall in Bavaria. (dpa)
