Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi is preparing to launch four new and various devices, including a new smartwatch, a wireless earpiece and a laptop, at its highly anticipated event scheduled for May 24.
All four devices will be initially launched in the Chinese market, and will arrive in global markets soon.
The Chinese company confirmed that it will unveil at its conference the new series of its smartphones, “Redmi Note 11T Pro” in the economic category, but the greatest interest will be in the higher model in terms of specifications and settings, which is “Note 11T Pro +”.
The phone features a 6.6-inch IPS LCD screen with FHD + resolution and a high refresh rate of 144 Hz.
The phone will be powered by a powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8100 processor paired with 8GB of RAM.
The phone will run on the “Android 12” operating system with the traditional “Xiaomi” interface, “MIUI 13”.
The Note 11T Pro + will be available in three different versions of internal storage; 128, 256 and 512 GB, and a powerful 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The company will also offer, for the first time, “Bluetooth 5.3” connectivity with the phone.
Xiaomi Mi Band 7
The Chinese company confirmed that it has made many important improvements and some “sports upgrades” in its new smart watch, “Xiaomi Mi Band 7”.
The smartwatch comes with a larger screen than the company’s, which now measures 1.6 inches, increasing the viewing area by about 25% compared to the previous model.
The watch supports GPS, which will make the “Xiaomi Mi Band 7” provide more accurate training metrics and geographical location.
The new watch will also include various sports and health resources that will monitor sleep quality and heart rate.
Redmi Buds 4 Pro
Xiaomi revealed some of the specifications that will be included in the new wireless earbuds, the “Redmi Buds 4 Pro”, which is also scheduled to be launched next Tuesday.
According to the Chinese giant, the model brings with it three novelties; The first is a new low latency and noise reduction technology certified by many relevant bodies.
The second technology will be an upgraded “hi-fi” system that provides better sound quality and gives the user a “new sense of hearing,” as the company described. The third advantage is the expected position in the market, where the new earpiece comes at a competitive price of 140 euros.
The “Redmi Buds 4 Pro” will support “Bluetooth 5.3” connection and “LC3” codec.
RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition
In the laptop market, Xiaomi confirmed that it will launch a new device called “RedmiBook Pro 2022 Ryzen Edition” on the 24th of this month.
The laptop will have an AMD Ryzen CPU, specifically a Ryzen 6000H chip.
This chip is based on the “Zen 3 +” architecture that includes “RDNA 2” graphics processing units and uses a 6 nm manufacturing process.
The new device also features a 14-inch screen and will be thinner and lighter than its predecessors from the company. As for the design, and as the company used to offer, it will be on the “MacBook” model from “Apple”.
