/ The second stage of the Iraq Stars League competitions will begin today, Sunday, after a slight pause between the two stages, with four matches being held in Baghdad, Dohuk, and Karbala, simultaneously at nine-thirty in the evening.

The Al-Zawraa team will host the Najaf team at its home stadium, while the Al-Madina Stadium in Baghdad will host the match between the Baghdad Municipality team and its guest, Naft Maysan.

At the Dohuk Stadium, a public match will be held between the hosts and fans, the Dohuk team and its guest, the Air Force team, while at Karbala International Stadium, a match will be held between the hosts and fans, the Karbala team and its guest, the Newroz team.

The Iraqi Football Federation issued a schedule for the Iraq Stars League teams’ standings after the end of the first stage, and the playing of a number of postponed matches that caused slight changes in the positions of the 20 teams, a day before the start of the second stage competitions.

The Air Force team leads after the end of the first stage of competitions with 45 points, Al-Shorta is in second place with 42 points, Zakho is third with 32 points, Al-Zawraa is fourth with 30 points, and with the same score, Al-Talaba is fifth on goal difference from Al-Zawraa.
