by time news

The Beauce-Etchemin School Services Center has confirmed four (4) diagnoses of COVID-19 in its establishments, according to the latest report just published by the Regional Public Health Department.

The schools concerned are as follows:

• One (1) case at La Tourterelle school (Saint-Benjamin) – No additional isolation.

• One (1) case at Lacroix school (Saint-Georges) – A group of students in modified isolation.

• Two (2) cases at Deux-Rives school (Saint-Georges) – A group of students in modified isolation.

The modified isolation means that the student can continue to go to school, daycare and use school transportation during the isolation period, wearing the quality mask at all times. During this period, outside of school, if the student is not adequately protected, he must remain in strict isolation at home.

People placed in isolation have already been contacted. The CSSBE invites parents to be particularly vigilant regarding their state of health, that of their child and that of their family.
