The incident of confiscation of 4000 liters of adulterated milk at a check post in Rajkot, Gujarat has caused a great shock among the people of the area.
Rajkot Deputy Commissioner Praveen Kumar Meena said,
During a vehicle search, a truck was seized with adulterated milk made from chemicals like sulphate phosphate and carbonated oils.
According to reports, the adulterated milk business has been going on for months and there is a big conspiracy behind it.

Distribution of formula milk is going on for last 4 months. First we have located the location of the factory.
Earlier on Tuesday, milk prices were hiked at major milk outlets across the country. The main reason for the price hike is said to be the increase in input costs.
Both Amul and Mother Dairy have raised Rs.2. This price hike is effective from today.
In this case, investigation is being conducted on adulterated milk, he said.
