A four-year-old girl has died from the dog attack in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom, as reported by the police.
The agents received a notice that a dog had attacked a girl in the backyard of a house.
Soon after, it was confirmed that the girl had died on the property.
There have been no arrests and the dog has been euthanizedaccording to information from the English media.
“I understand the impact this will have on the community and in the general public,” said Supt Matt Bullivant, of Thames Valley Police. “I would like to reassure people that there is no reason to believe that there is any danger for the public at this time and ask them not to speculate on the circumstances, especially on social media platforms.”
He added that there would be a large police presence in the area Tuesday night due to the investigation.
The police said that no one else was hurt in the incident and that the boy’s family was receiving support from the agents.
