Four years in prison for sexually assaulting a woman, whom he later threatened if she told what happened

Santander, March 23, 2023.- The Provincial Court of Cantabria today sentenced a man who sexually assaulted a woman to four years in prison and a fine of 270 euros and later threatened her if she told what happened. The trial was scheduled in the First Section of the Provincial Court of Cantabria for today morning, but at the beginning of it the prosecution, the private prosecution and the defendant’s defense have informed the court that they had reached an agreement. The man has confessed guilty to a crime of sexual assault and a minor crime of threats, for which the accusations have reduced the request for a sentence that was initially eight years in prison and a fine of 900 euros….
