American television company Fox News wants to organize debates of US presidential candidates in September between former US leader Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris, Day.Az reports with reference to TASS.
“As the conditions of the race have changed, we would like to hold a presidential debate between former President Trump and Vice President Harris. We propose that the debate be held in Pennsylvania on September 17,” the letter sent to the Trump and Harris campaigns reads.
Fox News also said it was open to discussions about the “exact date, format and location” of the meeting, as well as the issue of audience participation.
On September 10, the debate will take place on the ABC television network’s platform.
Trump previously said that he would like to hold not one, but several rounds of debates with Harris. Moreover, the Republican believes that the new round should take place on the Fox News channel, and not, as previously planned, on the ABC platform. Trump explained this by ABC’s bias.
