The organizers of the 37th America’s Cup welcome the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez and its representative team K-Challenge Racing as a challenger for the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona in 2024.

Stephane Kandler and Bruno Dubois’ challenge was previously accepted by the Royal New Zealand Yacht Squadron and they have now chosen to officially announce their entry and confirm that they are ready to continue their campaign.

«Bruno and I are very happy to join the other challengers. We’ve been working behind the scenes for almost a year now and we’ll be announcing some great things by the end of the month.» declared Stéphane Kandler, CEO of K-Challenge Racing.

Grant Dalton, CEO of AC37 Event Limited, said:It’s great to see the French return to the America’s Cup as the 5th Challenger, and they will no doubt bring plenty of character and flair to what is shaping up to be a standout event in Barcelona. France is such an important sailing nation, but despite that, it’s no small feat to put together an America’s Cup team. I therefore congratulate Stéphane, Bruno and the Société Nautique de Saint-Tropez who have worked tirelessly to reach this stage.».

K-Challenge participated in the 32nd edition of the America’s Cup in Valencia in 2007 and will announce more details later in January.
