/ Paris Police Chief Laurent Nunez introduced on Monday that 9 folks had been arrested after attacking a police station within the suburbs of Paris late on Sunday night after clashes between youths and police forces.
These clashes come after the dying of a younger man within the Kornov suburb final week after he refused to cease his bike after the police ordered him to take action.
“We arrested 9 folks, which isn’t a small quantity,” Nunez advised TF1 tv on Monday.
He added, “Police reinforcements shortly restored order and safety.”
Safety points are of utmost significance to the French authorities, particularly as Paris prepares for the beginning of the Olympic Video games on July 26.
Some Olympic Video games websites within the French capital had been vandalized in riots that occurred in the summertime of 2023 and broke out after a younger man of Moroccan origin was killed by police bullets.
