In 2022, foreign companies continued to invest in France despite the violent energy crisis that hit the country. Beyond these specific investments from outside, the industrial fabric has, more generally, withstood the turbulence: announcements of factory openings in the territory were twice as numerous as closures: 150 against 70, according to data recorded by the Trendeo observatory of employment and investment from press clippings.
