Speaking at the opening of the Morocco-France Economic Meeting, Mr. Le Maire expressed his country’s desire to cooperate with the Kingdom of Morocco in various areas, particularly that of clean energy, notably solar, wind and green hydrogen.
He also expressed France’s wish to collaborate with Morocco in the development of energy transport infrastructure and in the production of nuclear energy but also to further expand cooperation between the two countries in the railway and aeronautics sectors. and automobile.
For his part, the president of the French Business Movement (MEDEF), Patrick Martin, noted that the Morocco-France economic meeting is of capital importance and is part of the renewal of economic relations between the two countries, adding that its Meetings with his Moroccan counterpart were an opportunity to underline the crucial importance of economic diplomacy.
Aware of the power and the central role that Morocco now occupies as a hub to Africa, the president of MEDEF expressed the wish to see Moroccan companies continue to work with French companies, with a view to mutual benefits.
Organized by the General Confederation of Moroccan Enterprises (CGEM) and MEDEF under the theme “Together towards a renewed momentum for economic and social opportunities”, this meeting brought together more than 500 Moroccan and French economic leaders.
