French President Emmanuel Macron has promised to supply Ukraine with tanks and armored vehicles. He made the promise this Monday, the 15th, during a meeting with the president of the country located in Eastern Europe, Volodymyr Zelensky.
At the meeting, Macron said he intends to contribute to the security of the Ukraine. “We will train and equip several Ukrainian battalions with dozens of armored vehicles and light tanks to help protect the population from Russian attacks,” he stressed.
The French president stressed the importance of investigating possible “war crimes” committed by the Russians and said he is working towards the creation of a tribunal. “The International Center for Prosecuting the Crime of Aggression against Ukraine should be launched as soon as possible,” he said.
Macron it also honored the Ukrainian population and the Armed Forces of that country. “You are not just defending your nation, attacked by Russia,” he said. “But they are also contributing to the security of our continent, Europe.”

No Twitter, the president of France posted a photo hugging Zelensky. He stated that the Ukrainians can count on the full support of the French. “On behalf of the French nation and on my own behalf, I assure you that you can count on our support, friendship and brotherhood,” he stressed.
