Time.news – France has corrected the contagion data from Covid-19 upwards: in the last 24 hours, 91,608 new cases of coronavirus have been registered (and not 88 thousand as previously reported by local authorities).

This is the all-time record in one day since the start of the pandemic.

The previous record, equal to 84,999, was recorded on 8 April last, but it was, among other things, the result of a recovery of notifications.

“Most likely we will exceed 100,000 infections a day by the end of the month”, Véran had already warned in an interview with Bfm TV.

Also in the last 24 hours, 179 deaths were recorded. 16,060 patients are currently hospitalized: 16,118 yesterday and 15,142 on Thursday.

There are 3,208 people in the intensive and sub-intensive care wards: they were 3,147 yesterday and 2,832 last Thursday.
