France team: the Blues will play the League of Nations at the Stade de France

by time news

While the French world champions will go to the provinces for the two friendly matches in March, respectively in Marseille and Lille, it is the Stade de France which has been chosen to organize the last matches before the World Cup in Qatar. These official meetings are part of the group stage of the League of Nations, of which the French team is the defending champion. Among these receptions in the Dionysian enclosure, there will be Denmark (Friday June 3), Croatia (Monday June 13) and Austria (Thursday September 22).

This is the first time since November 2019 and the match against Moldova (2-1), that the Stade de France could welcome large numbers of people for a Blues match. Indeed, the pandemic has gone through this, forcing the France team to receive its opponents behind closed doors, and at best under the constraint of a gauge of 5,000 spectators. And since the start of the season, the FFF has chosen to go elsewhere than at the Stade de France. Strasbourg, Lyon, Marseille and Lille were chosen, as was the Parc des Princes, for the match against Kazakhstan on November 13.
