France: the government announces 5 billion euros in additional savings to reach 25 billion in 2024

While France is still in political uncertainty and waiting for a new government, the outgoing president is not only managing current affairs. The Minister of Economy and Finance Bruno Le Maire announced on Thursday July 11 a new cut in the general budget of an additional five euros. With all the measures taken, the government plans up to 25 billion euros in savings only for this year 2024, compared to the first financial law.
