Also, urban public transport will be disrupted due to the change in the routes of some transport lines, against the background of the planned demonstrations in the cities. Citizens are advised to consult the local transport network websites for traffic forecasts, as well as the RATP website (https://www.ratp.fr/), for details on traffic in the Paris region.

The unions of the Paris airports (Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly) have announced that they will join the call for strikes, which could lead to flight disruptions, says the MAE.

Passengers will be notified of possible flight cancellations/delays via SMS. Flight details are available on the following websites:

https://www.parisaeroport.fr/ and https://www.parisaeroport.fr/passengers/les-vols/compagnies-aeriennes.

The National Union of Commercial Navigating Personnel (SNPNC-FO) has foreseen a social movement concerning the flight attendants of the Vueling airline, which will create disruptions to the flight schedule. At the same time, for the period May 2-3, the General Directorate of Civil Aviation (DGAC) requested the airlines to give up 33% of the flight schedule at Paris-Orly Airport, as a result of the air traffic controllers’ strike, the cited source states.

It is possible to extend the strike even after this date, in certain sectors, including public transport, the MAE also announces.

Romanian citizens can request consular assistance at the telephone numbers of the Romanian Embassy in Paris: +33147052966 and +33147052755, calls being forwarded to the Contact and Support Center for Romanian Citizens Abroad (CCSCRS) and taken over by Call Center operators on a permanent basis .
