Signed at Assisi was a treaty of peace, not of war.

The Pope and young economists, entrepreneurs and architects of the revolution signed the Treaty of Assisi.
The agreement was signed on Saturday (24/09/22) on the concluding day of a three-day meeting called the “Economy of Francesco” (EoF) convened by Pope Francis in Assisi, Italy.
Conscious of the responsibility vested in their generation, they make it clear at the beginning of the covenant that they will individually and collectively endeavor to dedicate their lives to the economy of today and tomorrow, which will become the economy of the gospel.
They explain that they envision an economy that resists the proliferation of weapons, of special, highly lethal weapons, and that it is not of war but of peace.
The charter sees that this economy will be at the service of the individual, the family and life, and will be respectful of all men and women, young and old, the most vulnerable and the weakest.
This agreement states that this economic structure is to place care where there is rejection and indifference, to exclude no one in the construction of society, to guarantee safe and decent work for all, and where money becomes the friend and partner of the real economic system and work.
This agreement makes it clear that it will be driven by the morality of the human person, open to universality and not hypothetical.
