Racing Club tied 1-1 with Barracas Central, in a match played tonight at the Cilindro de Avellaneda valid for the 21st. day of the Professional Football League (LPF).
The goal for the “Academy” was scored by Aníbal Moreno 20 minutes into the first stage, while Francisco Álvarez from San Juan tied for the “Guapo” at 40 minutes of the second half.
The tie left those from Avellaneda in 13th place with 27 points, while Barracas was left with 24 points in twentieth position.
The team led by coach Fernando Gago came out convinced to take center stage in the match, standing in the rival field and with verticality to bring danger from the start towards the goal defended by Andrès Desábato.
The Paraguayan Matias Rojas took the reins of the team and was well accompanied in attack by Gabriel Hauche and Maximiliano Romero, who wasted some clear chances.
