Ottapalam ∙ A case has been filed against the star couple for allegedly not returning more than 3 crore rupees bought in the name of film production. The Ottapalam police registered a case against actor Baburaj and his wife and actress Vani Vishwanath on the complaint of Riyas, a native of Thiruvilwamala, Thrissur.
The complaint is that Rs 3.14 crore received for the production of the film ‘Kudasha’ was not returned. According to the complaint, the money was paid in various stages in 2017 through Ottapalam’s bank account. The complaint alleges that the deal was promised to return the money and profit after the release of the film. The police informed that a case has been filed against both of them and investigation has been started.
