Free bus service from Haramain Railway Station to Makkah Masjid

RIYADH: A free bus service has been arranged from there to Makkah Mosque for those arriving at Makkah Station on the Haramain train connecting Makkah and Madinah Mosques. There is also a service from the church back to Haramain station. This bus service is always available which is absolutely free.

The train journey between Madinah and Makkah takes two hours and 20 minutes. Distance is 1 km from Munnoor. After performing Umrah in Makkah, you can travel to Madinah by this train. Return to Makkah by the same train after completing prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah and visiting the Prophet’s tomb and other historical sites there.

In six months, the number of pilgrims who have come to perform Umrah has exceeded 48 lakhs
Riyadh: Six months after the start of the new Umrah season, the number of pilgrims who have reached Saudi Arabia has exceeded 48 lakh. According to the report released by the Ministry of Hajj Umrah, a total of 48,40,764 pilgrims have reached the holy land till the last day through air, land and sea ports.

4,258,151 pilgrims have performed Umrah and returned home. As of Tuesday, the number of Umrah pilgrims from various countries in Saudi Arabia is 582,613. It is estimated that 4,329,349 pilgrims arrived through the country’s airports. 507,430 pilgrims arrived by land and 3985 pilgrims by ship through the gates of Arar Jadeed, Al Haditha, Halat Ammar, Alwadiya, Rubul Khali (Empty Quarter), Albatha, Salwa, King Fahd Causeway, Al Raqhi, Durra and Khafji.
