Ramanathapuram: 366 electricity connections have been provided in Ramanathapuram district under the Chief Minister’s plan to provide one lakh agricultural electricity connections in a year. Chief Minister Stalin’s discussion program with farmers connected to electricity was held in Chennai. Kumawat was presided over by Collector Sankarlal. Minister Raja Kannappan, Navaskani MP, Kadarpatsha Muthuramalingam MLA, Ramanathapuram Municipal Chairman Karmegam, District Revenue Officer Kamatchi Ganesan, Electrical Supervising Engineer Prida Padmini, District Panchayat Deputy Chief Veluchamy and many others participated in the Ramanathapuram Assembly. 137 electricity connections in the constituency, 25 in Thiruvananthapuram constituency, 80 in Paramakudi, 124 in Mudukulathur and 366 connections at an estimated cost of 5 crore 12 lakh 31,600 rupees. Through this 718.12 acres are being cultivated.
