Bangkok Appeals to Animal Lovers with Free Rabies Vaccination and Sterilization Services

In an effort to promote animal health and safety, the Bangkok Health Department is offering free rabies vaccination, sterilization, and microchip implantation services for dogs and cats. These services will be provided through a mobile veterinary unit, making it convenient for pet owners to access these important procedures.

The mobile veterinary unit will be stationed at various locations throughout the city during the month of July 2023. Pet owners are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to protect their furry friends. Here are the details for each location:

1. Chom Thong District: On July 17th, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, the mobile veterinary unit will be at Sai Temple. Pet owners can register for the services on-site.

2. Taling Chan District: On July 19th, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the unit will be located at Wat Paknam on the north side. Please note that the sterilization queue may already be fully booked.

3. Bangna District: On July 19th, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, pet owners can visit Wat Bang Na Nok. Similar to the previous location, the sterilization queue may be fully booked.

4. Bang Sue District: On July 20th, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, the Red Building Locomotive Community will host the mobile unit. Pet owners can register on-site for the services.

5. Lat Krabang District: On July 20th, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, the unit will be stationed at the Public Health Service Center 45 Romklao. Again, pre-registration for sterilization may be fully booked.

6. Bang Phlat District: On July 21st, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Wat Phakhakininat Worawihan will be the location for the mobile unit. Please note that the sterilization queue may already be fully booked.

It is important for pet owners to bring their ID card on the day of the service. This is a requirement for the procedures to be performed.
