The hospital administration has asked the patients admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (Cardio Neurosciences) Center to use the free vehicle service to return home.

Cardio Neurosciences Center (CNC) has informed that the AIIMS management will provide transportation to the patients who are admitted to the general ward after treatment and after they are discharged and return home.

At the same time, it has been informed that this service is not applicable to patients admitted in private wards and patients who come for treatment as outpatients in the same center on a daily basis.

As per the terms and conditions laid down by the hospital management for this purpose, only patients within Delhi National Capital Region are allowed to use this facility. It is reported that this service is not provided for National Capital Region (NCR) traffic.

The service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is offered from Monday to Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm.

This is not an ambulance service. Therefore, patients who need to be transported in prone position are not allowed to avail this service. A maximum of one assistant will be allowed to travel with the patient.

Patients cannot change the location unless they decide to go as specified at the time of booking. AIIMS Nigam said that drivers should not be given any handouts and if there are any complaints, they can report on the phone number 011-26593322.
