jpnn.comJAKARTA – PT Freeport Indonesia (PTFI) also supports the Red and White Contingent who will compete in the 33rd Olympics in Paris this year.

PTFI President Director Tony Wenas said the move was his company’s commitment to supporting Indonesia’s sporting achievements.

“We hope that our support will increase the enthusiasm of the athletes competing in the Olympics to achieve the best results for Indonesia,” said Tony Wenas while attending the inauguration of the Indonesian Contingent for the 2024 Paris Olympics at the Wisma Kemenpora, Jakarta, Wednesday (10/7).

PTFI’s support in the form of a sponsorship of Euro 300 thousand is expected to increase the enthusiasm of Indonesian athletes to achieve the best results at the Paris Olympics.

The inauguration of the Indonesian Contingent was marked by the handover of the Red and White flag by the Minister of Youth and Sports, Dito Ariotedjo, to Anindya Novyan Bakrie. Anindya is Head of Mission (CdM) Indonesian contingent at the 2024 Olympics.

Next, one by one the athletes and officials of the Indonesian contingent kissed the Red and White flag with great reverence.

Anindya also appreciated PTFI’s support for the Indonesian contingent that will compete in the Paris Olympics.

The form of support from PT Freeport in the form of a sponsorship of 300 thousand euros is expected to increase the enthusiasm of Indonesian athletes to compete in the Olympics.
