According to the National Association of Foreign Trade (Analdex), the Road Freight Transport Cost Index (ICTC) stood at 141.95 in July 2024, taking December 2015 as a reference (base 100). This table has shown a sustained increase in logistics costs over the years, reflecting significant changes in the different cost groups that impact freight transport in Colombia.

Although the ICTC in July 2024 recorded a slight decrease of 0.11% compared to the previous month (142.11 in June 2024), it still shows significant cumulative growth compared to previous years.

Since December 2015, when the index was set at 100, the ICTC has shown a steady upward trend. Starting in January 2022, when the index reached 123.45, a significant increase has been observed, reaching 141.95 in July 2024. This represents an increase of 41.95% over a period of 8 years and 7 months. Compared to July 2023, the ICTC shows an increase of 3.18%, and an increase of 10.13% compared to July 2022.
