Paris: PSG lost in French league football. Nantes thrashed PSG by three goals to one, despite the inclusion of Lionel Messi, Neymar and Mbabane in the starting XI. Nantes won the game thanks to goals from Colo Mouni, Quentin Merlin and Ludovic Blas. PSG’s scorer was Neymar in the 47th minute. It was Neymar’s return to the starting XI after recovering from injury. PSG remain top of the league with 59 points.
City lose to Premier League
Defeat to defending champions Manchester City in the Premier League Classic. Tottenham beat City by three goals to two. Tottenham won the game thanks to a goal from Harry Kane in injury time. In the fourth minute, Dajan Kuluseki put Tottenham ahead. Harry Kane scored a pair of goals for the team. For City, Gundogan and Riyadh Maher scored one goal each and remain top of the City League with 63 points. Tottenham are seventh with 39 points.
This is the fifth consecutive victory for Liverpool
Liverpool’s fifth consecutive victory in the English Premier League. Liverpool beat Norwich City by three goals to one. Norwich’s defeat came in the 48th minute when they took the lead through Rashika. Sadio Mane brought Liverpool with him. Mane equalized in the 64th minute. Mohamed Salah put Liverpool ahead in the third minute. With just nine minutes left in the game, Luis Diaz completed Liverpool’s tally.
Chelsea on the way to victory
Chelsea beat Crystal Palace 1-0. Hakim Siech was Chelsea’s defender with one minute to go. European champions Chelsea are third in the league with 50 points from 25 games. Arsenal also won another match. They beat Brentford by two goals to one. Arsenal’s top scorers are Emil Smith and Bukayo Saka. Southampton beat Everton 2-1. Southampton’s scorers are Stuart Armstrong and Shane Long. West Ham – Newcastle United draw ended in a draw.
The royal jump continues
Real Madrid beat Alaves by three goals in the Spanish League. Marco Asensio, Vinicius Jr. and Karim Benzema scored the goals for Real. The Royals remain top of the league with 57 points from 25 games.
