The International Olympic Committee announced on Monday that seven candidates, including Britain’s former Olympic champion Sebastian Coe and France’s David Lappartient, will be in place to succeed Thomas Bach in March 2025, whose first term as IOC president began in 2013. Kirsty Coventry was the only candidate to take it. the effects of this institution which has had only men at its head since its foundation in 1894.
